Passable - OK if you don't spend all your time there.
Positive: - Good location in leafy street. Easy to get around from - trams and train 5-ish mins walk away
- Cutely styled apartment
- TV has streaming services
Negative: - Rude, lazy and unresponsive host
- The cupboards in the bedroom were filled with other people's old junk, including used loofahs, vicks, nasal sprays, broken umbrella and shoes
- No hand soap provided by the sink (though I found some among the junk in the cupboard) and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower was either empty or near empty
- No black tea bags or milk restocked. Host said they would come as they live very close-by, then didn't show up, then when I followed up the next day, they presented with an excuse. They offered to door-dash on the condition that I had to be home (which obviously wasn't, when on holiday). Too much complication.
- only ONE towel each provided for 4 nights stay. Became completely soaked and requested another towel, which was completely ignored by the host.
- Even the limited amount of toilet rolls in the drawer looked somewhat wavey/dirty/old
- No aircon, but there is a portable fan. Heater is stuck on the wall behind the couch and the ad says don't move furniture.
- Neighbour up swearing on the phone all night one night (easy to hear next door)
- Mirrors in awkward spots.
- TV turned on by itself one night when I was taking a shower which was absolutely terrifying! I believe (hope) a nearby apartment accidentally streamed onto mine...

Not spectacular but functional and comfortable enough, with some facilities that could be improved
Positive: The separate bedroom was cozy, the bed comfortable, and we appreciated having a couple of pillow and duvet options to choose from.
Negative: The kitchen lacked a microwave, so at the very least a pot should have been provided - we ended up reheating soup in a pan. The shower tended to flood the bathroom a little, and the mirror is awkwardly installed at an angle, making it practically unusable.
Although the flat is far outside the city center and the neighborhood itself seemed quiet, the train line runs directly outside the bedroom window, making it noisy at night and difficult to sleep.

Positive: That it was close to MCG, comfortable
Negative: No soap, tea bags, coffee or sugar and milk

Positive: It was clean, in a chilled area and close enough to the city that I could just walk.
Negative: I arrived quite late, around midnight and the instructions I got sent didn’t have the number of my apartment. I’ve sent a message to the property but didn’t receive any response and the number they provided to call had no WhatsApp so I couldn’t call. I had to try and open many apartments until I found mine. I also couldn’t make the stove to work, but apart from that I really enjoyed my stay and I would come back.

Great place to wind down in during your stay in Melbourne!
Positive: Close to the CBD and other areas we wanted to visit! Comfortable and great for what we needed.
Negative: We wished it was a little cleaner, particularly in the bathroom. But felt this could be due to the age of the property.
