Moonee Ponds 2BR Apartment

It was a wonderful stay. Positive: Location Negative: No drop off box for the key. Limited toilet rolls. Fresh towels every other day would be great.

Good location but would not stay again Positive: The location only, which is in Moonee Ponds central. Next to train station. Owner or manager replied in timely manner except for the last night. Had to message him twice regarding front door lock malfunction & early checkout details. Security pretty good as you need key fob to enter building & use lifts. Negative: There was only air condition unit in the living room. The bedrooms were very hot. The evenings were cool, but if you opened the window, the noise from train & cars would wake you up. We bought a fan & left it for other guests. No dryer, only washing machine. The beds were very uncomfortable (hard) with pillows as flat as pancakes. The living room couch was very old and worn out. The kitchen cutlery was not good quality, only better than plastic. The pots and pans look like they’re made from toxic materials, cheap and worn out. The parking garage was not easy to find, even with YouTube video (bad quality) which was labeled on wrong street & only showed you entrance. Would be better if video took you to designated parking spot. On last day the lock to front door would not lock (from outside or inside) so we slept with door unlocked.

Fantastic Positive: Fantastic location! Everything we needed was in the apartment! Negative: We found that the lock on the door was a bit hit and miss, we could lock it from the inside but if my husband was outside he could just push the door handle and the door would open, would only lock properly by using the key from the outside
