Great place, enjoyed stay. Positive: Location was great Negative: Directions to find unit were not clear - wasted time

TERRIBLE do not book this it's an AIR BNB Positive: I would never have booked this property had it been advertised as an Airbnb-style accommodation. After travelling and working all day, all we wanted to do was check in, rest, and get some sleep. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely stressful and frustrating from the moment we arrived. We did not receive any key collection or check-in instructions prior to arrival, despite being advised they had been emailed. The property was also listed under a different name, making it very difficult to locate. As a result, we spent over two hours in the dark trying to find the accommodation and gain access. After numerous attempts, I finally managed to contact someone, who then sent through an extremely lengthy set of instructions. The entire check-in process was confusing, time-consuming, and completely unsuitable for tired travellers arriving after a long journey. From arrival to finally gaining entry to the property, the process took more than three hours. After little to no sleep and a full day of travel and work commitments, this was an incredibly emotional and exhausting experience. The property was not advertised as an Airbnb or self-managed accommodation, and had this been made clear at the time of booking, I would have chosen alternative accommodation with a staffed reception and straightforward check-in process. Overall, this was one of the most stressful accommodation experiences I have encountered, and I would not book this property again. Clean modern apartment excellently located for transport and nearby shops. Positive: Excellent location, very convenient for tram or train to journey into the CBD. Good supermarkets nearby and well placed for eateries too. The apartment was quiet, clean and modern with spacious bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was also roomy with a good sized shower. The kitchen appliances were of a high specification, we particularly liked the French larder fridge! Negative: We didn’t like the key pickup place, Bottlemart, being several streets away making it a further journey to get to the apartment with suitcases, not an easy task on foot especially when we had arrived after a long haul flight. Fortunately on leaving we were told to just leave the key in the apartment saving us from a repeat journey.

Positive: Modern apartment in a great location Negative: Cleaning not thorough - some surfaces had not been wiped down in bathroom and inside fridge after previous guests. Some items had not been restocked - one tissue left in tissue box, only 2 dishwasher tablets for a 4 day stay, kitchen sponge not replaced with an unused one and host didn’t reply to my communication when I requested them.

Positive: Location and facilities were perfect.
